This peaceful landscape was pained by talented Alexander Simonov (1960) from the village of Fedoskino. It features locality typical for Russian countryside. It is filled with fields covered with grass and bushes with the dense of forest, the river running in between the fields on the back stage, and the endless white and blue skies. A little wood boat can be found on the foreground of the scene.
Different shades of green and yellow suitable for reproduction of an early fall setting have been used here. A piece of mother-of-pearl is inlaid in the sky in the upper part of the composition and another one in the water of the river!
. The scene is framed with a gold line, the sides of the box are decorated with two parallel gold lines.
The exterior bottom of the box is covered with black lacquer and the box's interior is covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the composition, and the box rests flat. The box is signed with the artist's name and year of 2014.
