This is another creation of the talented Fedoskino landscape painter A. Simonov. Here the artist has perceptively painted the river in a morning mist. A couple of white swans flying over the water break the silence with the murmur of their wings.
This peaceful summer landscape is painted in various shades of green and blue oil paints. Mother-of-pearl creates brilliance of the sky and the river.
The scene is framed with a gold line. Two parallel gold lines can be found wrapping around the box's sides.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box has a hinge from the top of the scene, and rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the artist's name, the title ("Swans") and the year of 2006.
