Description:

Yunusov Rinat likes to depict the picturesque views of the Moscow Kremlin, and this is one more work painted on this theme.
In the foreground the artist depicts the red-bricked Kremlin wall, the Tainitskaya Tower (built in 1485 by the Italian architect Antonio Friazin, it had a secret passage leading to the Moskva River and a water well) and the embankment of the Moskva River. In the background we can see the cathedrals of the Kremlin architectural ensemble including the Assumption Cathedral, the Archangel Cathedral and the Belfry of Ivan the Great.
The scene is painted in a realistic manner, with flashes of gold and silver paint on the river and architecture, and a mother of pearl inlay shimmering through the tower. Very impressive! The box is constructed from quality paper-mache. The black lacquered exterior of the work imitates coloring of a grey marble (it is studded with tiny blue veins). The interior is traditionally red. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, and the title (“Moscow 2006, The Moscow Kremlin
