The talented Fedoskino artist Larisa Burmistrova who works under the pseudonym ‘Loris' has painted this interesting work. It continues the artist's series of works dedicated to the Russian Ballet.
The box shows the most popular Russian ballet dancer Anastasia Volochkova playing the role of Giselle in the fantasy ballet “Giselle”. Her partner is Yugeny Ivanchenko.
The scene is framed with a gold line.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box has a hinge from the left of the scene, and rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, the title (“A. Volochkova in the Ballet ‘Giselle'”) and the year of 2007.
