This beautiful round-shaped box is a creation of Natalya Gogina. In the center of the box's lid she depicts a bright bouquet of flowers painted against the green-olive background.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The box's sides are decorated with a shining gold scan pattern composed of shapes hand punched from gold metal sheets, and then glued to the box manually. The lid isn't hinged, and the box rests on three rounded legs. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and the year of 2002.
