This peaceful landscape with cows pasturing on the green meadow is a creation of Dunaev from the village of Fedoskino. Various shades of green oils predominate here. A shining piece of mother-of-pearl that has pink and green undertones is set into the sky. The box's exterior imitates a stone of malachite (green-silver veins and spots are scattered against the dark green background. The interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on four legs. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and the year of 2008.
