Description:

This well-painted portrait is a creation of Fedoskino artist Malozeomova.
Portrait of countess Marie Lopukhina painted by Vladimir Borovikovsky (1797) is still considered to be one of the best his paintings.The oil-on-canvas is displayed in Tretiakov Gallery in Moscow.
The lid of the box is decorated with an ornament, as well as the sides of the boxes are decorated with gold filigree.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left of the composition, and the box rests flat. The box is signed with the artist's name, village and year (2011).
