This winter peaceful landscape is a creation of the talented Fedoskino artist Tatiana Tipyakova. It shows a panorama view to a small village at the winter sunrise.
In this work the artist has managed to express his admiration for a quiet splendor of Russian nature. Wooden houses are perceptively painted with love and care. A scene like this, real or on an artist's canvas, always has a calming effect on the soul.
The colors taken from the palette are very natural and realistic, which enhances the quality of the landscape in the way it was rendered.
The scene is framed with a gold line, whiles the box's sides are adorned with two parallel gold lines.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to complete the exterior of the piece while red lacquer completes the interior of the box. The lid is hinged at the top and the box rests on a wavy platform. The work is signed, titled and dated (2012) by the artist.
