This interesting composition was created by Tatyana Tipyakova from the village of Fedoskino. Born in Moscow, she studied at the Fedoskino Art School under the honored artist of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Pashinin.
The work is called "Owl's swamp" and here Tipyakova skillfully paints sunset at the swamp.Two owls are are painted on this composition.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The exterior is decorated with two parallel gold lines. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene and the box rests on legs. The work is signed with the name of the artist, title, and the year of 2012.
