This traditional composition was painted by a talented artist Vladimir Golenev of Fedoskino.
The box shows winter troyka-the three horses rushing with a sledge. Two ladies are going to visit their relatives in the village near by.
Blue and gray tones of oil paints suitable for reproduction of a winter scene predominate here.
The sides of the box are covered with a mixture of a blue with gray colors, that imitates a color of a blue marble.
The box is made out of paper-mache made. Black lacquer covers the exterior's bottom and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box has a hinge from the top of the composition and rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, the year of 2015 and the village of Fedoskino.
