The box's exterior sides are decorated with a nice tartan pattern drawn in yellow, pink and light blue paints.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The box is hinged to the left of the composition and rests on a flat bottom.The work is signed with Fedoskino and the name of the artist.
