This box was painted by talented Fedoskino Artist Lubov Goleneva. The ballet dancer is having the wings behind her...we can three seagulls on the background. Beautiful and tempting composition!

The Moscow Bolshoy Theatre and the St.-Petersburg Maryinsky Theatre are world famous. Russian influence on ballet continues today, as many talented Russian ballet dancers give performances all over the World.
The theme of the Russian Ballet is very popular among Fedoskino artists, and this work painted by this artist continues this series. The background of the box is painted in gray and black tones; the costume of the lady-dancer is snow-white with blue elements. The ballet dancer is having the wings behind her...we can three seagulls on the background!
The quality of the painting is outstanding, details of the costume are just amazing!
Composition is framed with a gold line, two parallel gold lines wraps around the sides of the box.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The exterior of the box is painted in black colour. Red lacquer completes the interior of the box.
A hinge is fastened to the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The box is signed with the name of the artist.
