The world of beautiful reality come to life in this marvelous composition painted by Tatyana Tipyakova of Fedoskino. A unique blend of tantalizing colors, incredible depth and life-like detail announce this piece as a quality addition to any collection!
The work is called "Awakening" and shows early morning, when the first rays of the sun break through the thick hair of the summer forest. In the foreground the artist has painted tree branches while the background is showing a waterfall.
Two spots are taking the attention of a veiwer! The waterfall is like shinning. The artist has used aluminum color to make this effect. Another spot- is shimmering spot in the right upper corner, where we can see some forest trees! Looks like there is an in-lay of mother-of-pearl, but it is NOT. I don't know what materials has used Tatiana, seems like aluminum color OR the color that includes some crashed mother-of-pearl in it!
This elegantly shaped box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The box's sides are decorated with two parallel gold lines. A hinge is fastened to the top of the scene, and the box rests on wavy platform with six legs. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title and the year of 2006.
