Description:

This peaceful landscape has been created by Krasnoslobotseva Lubov from the village of Fedoskino. It is painted the style of Holland Art School of 18-19 centuries. The beauty of nature and skillful painting technique are successfully combined here.
It's the early morning. Everything is peaceful and quiet and you have a sense that it is dawn, the day just beginning. Three horses of contrast colors: white, black and brown, have converged near the feeding-trough filled with fresh green grass although its early winter and the land is covered with white snow. Another domestic animals: pigs, ducks, and hens, have also come here to have breakfast and start their days. In the background a village wakes to the morning light spilling over the trees on the horizon. All of the land is in harmony and lives and breathes in the same breath, with the horses, village people, the trees and the sky all being connected with the rise of the morning sun.
The palette is based on contras white and gray tones. The landscape looks strikingly realistic. With the expert layer of paint and lacquer the artist is able to create picture quality depth in the composition.
The box is made of high-quality paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the piece while red lacquer completes the interior of the box. Two gold parallel lines decorate the box's sides. The lid is hinged from the top of the composition, and the box rests on four legs. The work is signed with the artist's name, the village of Fedoskino, and the year of 2005.
