Yelena Aldoshkina is the author of this captivating box. It shows the date of a lad and a girl in the autumn forest. The girl wears the wreath made of golden leaves.
The scene is beautifully painted in Aldoshkina' signature style. Various shades of blue oils predominate here. Gold paint is used to detail each leaf of the girl's wreath. The scene is encompassed with a thin gold line; this line is accompanied by various mushrooms and leaves of different trees painted in oils that act together as an original pattern. Another gold line can be found wrapping around the box's sides. The toadstools drawn from the left of the characters are highlighted with shining silver powder. The box's exterior is covered with black lacquer mixed with gold dust. The interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is made out of high-quality paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box sits on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the name of the artist, Fedoskino, the year of 2007 and the title ("Autumn Fall of the Leaves).
