This small originally shaped box is a creation of Yulia Danilina. It shows a beautiful woman peeping out through the bushes of bindweed. The scene is intricately painted using light grey and violet tones of oils. Shining gold paint is used to detail the bush of bindweed. The edges of the lid are decorated with elegant gold ornaments that resemble tendrils of the bindweed. Violet tone of oils mixed with gold dust is used to cover the box's exterior. The interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the name of the artist, the title (“Bindweed”), and the year of 2008.
