This festive box has been painted by a talented Artist Svetlana Kolmogorova. Tell you the truth , this is actually a tandem of wife and husband-the Komogorovs family: Svetlana and Konstantin.
The work is called "Autumn has come...” and shows Autumn as Lady.
The scene is painted in bright oil paints to create a festal mood. Shining pieces of gold metal leaf that can be found in the costume of "Lady Fall" and some of the plants are used to strengthen the festive and miraculous atmosphere of Autumn Sunny Day.
At the top of the composition is decorated with maple leaves as well as "Lady Fall" has a crown composed of same golden maple leaves. The edges of the lid are adorned with a wide gold band that is extended on the box's sides.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. A hinge is fastened to the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title, and the village of Fedoskino on the box's exterior bottom.
