Description:

This originally designed work has been created by Nikolay Demiyanenkov from the village of Fedoskino.
The piece is made of papier mache, and repeats the shape of a kettle. On the front side of the piece the artist has painted an old man milking a goat. The piece is supplemented with three-dimensional elements; the goat, the kettle's spout and handle are crafted three-dimensionally. The lid is hinged at the top of the piece to imitate vividly the kettle's lid. The piece's exterior imitates brown marble and hued with gold powder. The interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer. The work is signed with the artist's name.
