Galina Sverlova from the village of Fedoskino created this beautiful portrait of a village girl with a wreath out of daisies. The depicted girl looks at the viewer with an angel's face, and innocent blue eyes. Only a good master could create such a sentimental work.
The portrait is framed with a thin gold line. Two parallel gold lines wrap around the box's sides.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left of the portrait, and the box rests on four legs. The work is signed with the artist's name and the year of 2010.
