Talented artist Svetlana Yevdokimova-Belovodova from the town of Dmitrov created this original box. The work is called "Lady Amethyst" and shows us a portrait of beautiful lady.
The artist has used real amethyst stone as incrustations to make a 3D affect. The box's exterior is covered with gray-blue oils mixed with aluminum powder. Its interior is traditionally red.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the composition, and the box rests on four amethyst stones. Signed with the name of the artist, the title, the village of Fedoskino, and the year of 2009 on the lid's exterior in gold paints.
