This enchanting Fedoskino box is a creation of talented artist Elena Aldoshkina. It shows a young couple celebrating an Easter.
The scene is painted in blue and green tones characteristic for all Aldoshkina's works. Gold paint is used to highlight the foliage of the tree and also to detail some of the plants.
The scene is framed with a gold line. The edge of the base also adorned with a gold line. The sides of the lid are decorated with gold dots.
The box's exterior is covered with blue lacquer mixed with gold dust while the interior is traditionally red.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, the title ("Easter Week"), and the year of 2004 on the lid's interior.
