Talented Fedoskino artist Liliana Slaeva is the author of this beautiful box. The work is called "The Red-Hairs", and shows a beautiful young red-hair girl sit at the window of a country look house. Her smile is charming and two also red-hair cats are purring at her hand and her shoulder. The girl has a flower in her hair and a freckled face.
White tone has been also chosen to cover the box's exterior while the interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer. The edge of the box's base is decorated with a rich golden line.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title, the year of 2011 and the village of Fedoskino in white oils and it is hard to find without turning the box to the sun.
