This beautiful box is continuing a series of little fairy/elf girls painted by talented Fedoskino artist Tamara Volodina. This box shows a scene from a life of fantasy created charter-elf girl.An elf girl has wings, and she sits on the sunflower.
There is a small piece of mother-of-pearl in-layed into a costume of a Sunflower Girl.
The box's exterior is creamy gray, while the interior is traditionally red. On the box's sides the artist continues to paint the flowers ,flower herbs and ladybirds. Each of the ladybirds depicted here are crafted three-dimensionally! The box rests on a flat bottom.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene. The work is signed with the artist's name, the year of 2011 and the village of Fedoskino.
