Talented Fedoskino artist Svetlana Yevdokimova-Belovodova from the town of Dmitrov created this original box. The work is called "When the Fern is blossoming..." and shows us a portrait of beautiful lady covered with fern.
The artist has used real stones for the legs of the box. Also one more stone is used in the middle of the flower and has 3D effect. The box's exterior is covered with green oils mixed with aluminum powder. Its interior is traditionally red.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the composition, and the box rests on four green stones. Signed with the name of the artist, the title, the village of Fedoskino, and the year of 2011 on the lid's exterior in gold paints.
