This attractive box was created by a talented artist Khizhnyak of Fedoskino.
The box is shows a boy and a girl that are came from the future or they look like the people that we can see in fantasy movies. Pink, gray and brown tones dominate here. Both having hats, the boy has an old looking jug in his hand. Some areas are highlighted with silver powder.
The scene is framed with a gold line; the box's sides are decorated with Scottish style (crossed lines) ornament.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. A hinge is fastened to the left of the scene, and the box rests on four little round feet. The work is signed with the artist's name and Fedoskino.
