Description:

This marvelous box has been painted by the prominent Fedoskino artist Sergey Rogatov. Each of his work is a true work of art, worthy of being exhibited in a museum!
Here Rogatov has depicted a young boy sit on a horse and fought with a snake. This view is traditional for St.George.
The scene is painted against a golden leaf, on a back side we can see very detailed landscape. On a front we can see a snake lying between intricate ornamented grass. The whole village is out, we can mentioned a devil in the end of the crowd on the left, the tractor is up side down on a heel on the right , as well as an old guy playing the harmonica almost on the top of the tree!
The scene is framed with a gold line. The box's sides are decorated with the Scottish lines .
The first time the subject was painted in 1998 and the box was mentioned in a Book- "Masters of Fedoskino". The book will be included as a free gift to a buyer.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Red lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer of a different shade covers the interior of the box. The box has a hinge above the scene, two compartments inside, and rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the artist's name and the village of Fedoskino.
