This another philosophical work is a creation of the outstanding Fedoskino artist Pavel Anokhin. Using this painting the artist has tried to show us a person who is trying to take a New Year's tree and one butterfly and one dragonfly are hidden on the inner part of a tree...The work is called "the secret" and the secret is those hidden and saved from the ladies on the background insects.
The scene is painted in subdued gray and brown oils.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the artist's name, and the name of the work.
