This purse-shaped box is a creation of the outstanding Fedoskino painter, Oleg Gavrilov.
The box is dual-sided. On both sides of the box the artist has drawn peacocks. The birds are painted within the pion flowers and against the creamy background.
The box's interior imitates the color of green marble (dark green veins and blurry spots are scattered against the olive background). On the box's interior bottom the artist has written his name.
The box is made out of paper-mache. There is a hinge at the bottom of the scenes, and the box rests on a flat bottom.
