Description:

This interesting and highly detailed composition is a creation of Konstantin Danshin from the village of Fedoskino.
Konstantin was born in the city of Dmitrov, in 1968. His father is a professional musician, a member of the State Symphonic Orchestra of Yuriy Svetlanov. Danshin's father managed to inculcate in his son a taste for the art. At the age of fourteen, he enrolled Konstantin in an art school. In 1983, Konstantin entered the Fedoskino Art School, where he studied under the guidance of V.N. Frolov, N.G. Marchukov and V.D. Antonov. Now K. Danshin's works are exhibited in different museums in Russia and all over the world.
Konstantin is fond of animals and birds. Quite often he depicts animals on his miniatures, and this box isn't exception. We can see a tiger painted with a highest quality on this box.
The sphere's sides are covered with dark bronze paint mixed with silver powder and gave an effect of a bronze marble stone.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid is hinged from the top of the composition and the box sits flat. The work is signed by the artist.
