Talented Fedoskino artist Boris Shavirin is continuing the series of the boxes with animals. The box depicts four dogs attacking a wild boar at the edge of the forest. Two hunters riding the horses are on the background of the scene.
A large piece of mother-of-pearl is inlay-ed in the box in the skies of the scene.
The box's sides imitates the color of brown marble. The interior is covered with red lacquer. The box is constructed from paper-mache. A hinge is fastened to the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and the year of 2012.
