This elegant box is an original creation of the outstanding Fedoskino painter, Oleg Gavrilov. On the box's lid the artist has drawn two robins sit on a branch of a tree with berries.
The scene is painted against the light blue background suitable with a pallet of a winter season. This light blue color is coming to the sides of the box and goes to the bottom. There are snow-white spots that are remind the snow flakes on the whole exterior. On the background of the lid we can see a little village covered with snow. Brilliant pieces of gold metal leaf shines through the leaves of the trees and windows and doors of the village houses.
The box's interior imitates the color of brown marble (dark veins and blurry spots are scattered against the brown background). On the box's interior bottom the artist has written his name. A shining gold metal thread wraps around the box's sides.
The box is made out of paper-mache. There is a hinge at the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom.
