Well-known and established artist Tatiana Dmitrieva from the village of Fedoskino created this attractive box. It depicts the girl who gathered the full basket of berries, and now sleeps under the tree.A young man has found her accidentally and look at her from behind the tree. Fine brush strokes create girl's multi-toned face, the texture of her peasant costume, patterns and folds on it. The lace that adorns her dress is drawn in bright gold paint. With the help of artistic means the artist managed to accentuate charm and youth of the girl.
The sides of the box are decorated with a silver ornament, so called "scan pattern" composed of tiny beads hand punched from silver metal sheets and then painstakingly affixed by hand to the box.
The box exterior is covered with a black lacquer.The interior is traditionally red.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The box has a hinge from the top of the composition and rests on a flat bottom. It is signed with the artist's name, the year of 2013, the village of Fedoskino and confirms that this is original master creation.
