Talented artist Galina Sverlova from the village of Fedoskino has painted this peaceful composition of an ancient beauty.The girl is sit on one of the boats and has a fan in one hand and in other a palte with cherries. The scene is nicely painted, with a keen eye for detail. Colors are bright and festive!
The painting is framed with a gold line. Two parallel gold lines are decorated the sides of the box.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left of the portrait, and the box rest flat. The work is signed with the artist's name and the year of 2011.
