This magical addition to any collection was composed by the talented V. Kuznetsov from the village of Mstera. This artist is interested in depiction of biblical and historical subjects. This work is dedicated to the Princess Olga (reigned over the Kiev Principality from 945 till 957) who is known as the first Christian in the family of Grand Princes. In 957 Olga traveled to Constantinople where she was warmly received by the emperor Constantine Porphyrogentus and where she was baptized as a Christian. In the middle of the composition there is the scene featuring Olga's christening.
In the upper left corner as well as in the right part of the composition the artist depicts the scenes showing another episode from Olga's life when she revenged on the Slavonic tribe
