Daniil Molodkin of Mstera not only has great artistic skills, but has an imagination teeming with fantasy filled thoughts. He does not limit himself to painting themes from Russian tales, rather he makes up his own scenes from tales that exist in his head.
This work is called "Morning of Railway Workers". Two railway workers have left their cozy houses early in the morning, and now they are greeting each other just on the railroad. One of them has a bottle of beer and a fish in his pocket; may be he is going to refresh himself after last night's party.
The box's exterior is decorated with gold and aluminum leafy patterns.
The box is constructed from quality paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior and red lacquer to paint the interior of the box. The box isn't hinged. It is signed with the artist's name, the title, and the village of Mstera.
