This exceptional production was created by Mstera favorite Daniil Molodkin. His works are always notable for fantastic representation of different subjects and bright, multicolored coloring.
The work is called "Morning", and shows the morning in Daniil Molodkin's fantastic world. People of the magic land are busy with their everyday household chores. They catch fish from an old wooden bridge, play the flute and fly in the sky making soap bubbles. The fantastic world is vividly presented in this composition with a great movement and brightness of the color palette.
The composition is painted in Molodkin's favorite blue, red and green tones of tempera paints. Gold paint is used to paint the sky and to fill the composition with brilliant details. Gold is also used to decorate the box's exterior with intricate foliage patterns.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the piece while red lacquer completes the interior of the box. A hinge has been fastened to the top of the composition, and the box rests on four legs. The work is signed with the artist's name, Mstera and the title.
