This beautiful brooch is a creation of Ira Peskova from the village of Palekh. It shows three musicians playing the violins and the accordion. The costumes of the characters are painted in blue, red and green tones of tempera paints and neatly detailed in lustrous gold paint. Intricate gold patterns accented with aluminum wrap around the edges of the brooch. The brooch can be attached to your clothing with a pin.
The brooch is constructed from paper-mache. Its exterior is covered with black lacquer. The work is signed with the name of the artist, the village of Palekh, and the year of 2010.
