This romantic and detailed composition has been painted by a talented artist Valentina Kruykova from the village of Palekh.
The composition shows a pretty young girl on the swing. On the top of the composition we can see beautiful flowers and the bird headlined with thin gold and silver paint.
The composition is framed with a pattern painted in gold and the sides of the box are decorated with rich gold and silver ornamentation.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior of the sides of the box and dark red lacquer covers the interior. The lid is hinged from the left of the composition, and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the name of the artist, Palekh and a year (2019) at the bottom of the composition.
