The icons painted on this Easter Egg are from the Deesis Range that was located in the Assumption Cathedral situated in the town of Vladimir (you can see it here: http://www.icon-art.info/group.php?lng=en&grp_id=1&mode=). All of them were painted in the beginning of the 15th century (1408) by the great Russian icon painter Andrey Rublyov. Their originals are exhibited in the Moscow Tretyakov Gallery.
The central icon painted on this Easter Egg is the icon "Christ in Majesty". The rest icons painted here are "The Icon of John the Baptist", "The Icon of the Blessed Virgin", "The Icon of Archagel Mikhail", and "The Icon of Archangel Gabriel".
