Borisova Olga Borisovna (1961)

Borisova Olga Borisovna was born in 1961 in the town of Petushki, Vladimir Region. Now she resides in Fedoskino.
In 1982 the artist finished the Fedoskino Art School. Her teachers were Shchagin A.V., Monashov S.V., Marchukov N.G. Her diploma work included the compositions: “Round dance”, “A cat and a cook”, “Russian women”.
Works by Olga Borisova are exhibited in Fedoskino Factory Museum of miniature art.
Themes of her works are various, but she prefers to paint portraits.
Olga paints her works in warm colors, applying her personal artistic methods. She considers a composition to be finished, when she likes her work. The time spent on painting a composition depends on a theme’s complexity.
The artist thinks her works are notable for original technique of painting.
Painting of Karl Brullov had a great influence on Borisova’s creative works.
