Mazurina Larisa Yevgenievna (1974)

Mazurina Larisa Yevgenievna was born in 1974 in the village of Palekh, Ivanovo Region where she resides at present.
In 1994 the artist finished the Palekh Art School. Her teachers were Buldakov V.V. and Belousova T.I. The Diploma work of Mazurina was a box entitled “Frol and Lavr” (the patrons of horses).
The artist works at the Association of Palekh artists. She paints her compositions in the style of Palekh lacquered miniature using tempera paints. Themes of her works are landscapes and fairy-tales.
Larisa thinks that choice of a theme is the most important stage in work at lacquered miniature. Before painting a composition, she thoroughly thinks over all the details: expression of a chosen theme, construction of composition and ornamental patterns.
Larisa prefers to use in her painting warm tones.
Painting of such famous Palekh painters as Khodov V.M. and Kochupalov A.D. had a great influence on the artist's work.
In her free time Larisa keeps house.
The artist wishes to all enthusiasts of Russian Lacquer Art health and wealth.
