This marvelous autumn scene was created by a talented Fedoskino artist Kovaleova.
The winding river flows along the grassy banks. The trees and bushes covered with orange and yellow leaves look so beautiful!
Some of the fallen leaves are already on the surface of the water .The reflection in the water of the main tree of this composition - a multi-stemmed birch is painted masterfully.The approach of autumn cannot be stopped...
To reproduce realistically a chosen season the artist has used yellow and green oils. The scene is framed with gold ornament, which painted on the edge of the lid.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on a wavy platform with seven legs. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and 16 (2016).
