This winter peaceful landscape scene is a creation of the talented Fedoskino artist Tatiana Tipyakova. This lacquer box depicts a village house on the edge of the forest. Behind the symbolic fence there is a haystack covered with snow.
In this work the artist has managed to express his admiration for a quiet splendor of Russian nature. Wooden house is perceptively painted with love and care. A scene like this, real or on an artist's canvas, always has a calming effect on the viewer soul.
The colors taken from the palette are very natural and realistic, which enhances the quality of the landscape in the way it was rendered. The artist has used white and bright grey pallete to paint this gourgeous winter scene, a small addition of pink and rose colors are used to paint the skies.

The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to complete the exterior bottom of the piece while red lacquer completes the interior of the box. The lid is hinged at the top and the box rests flat. The work is signed with the artist name and dated (2014).
