This composition is a creation of talented Fedoskino artist, Alexander Chirkov. Here we can see a bear in a raspberry bushes. This is a known fact, that bears likes to eat sweet raspberries. Someone from the village came to the forest to pick up the berries, but a bear came to the same bushes and the person drop the basket full of berries and run away.
Raspberry bushes painted in the background is drawn in subdued blue and green colours. An artist has used pieces of mother-of-pearl in this composition. One is shines through the walls of the church (in the left upper corner) and the second one- from the bushes of raspberries above the bear.
The dropped basket with berries is painted in gold. Gold paint is also used to highlight the grass at the front of the scene.
The scene is framed with gold dots on the edge of the lid. Sides of the box are decorated with a painting of leaves of the trees and pine tree needles painted in gold.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer was used to paint the exterior of the piece while red lacquer completes its interior. A hinge is fastened to the top of the scene, and the box rests on wavy platform on eight legs. Signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, the year of 2015 and the title ("Good Find").
